For this young family with three children, we breathed new life into their 1905 home while honoring its original architecture. Through thoughtful updates, we introduced fresh paint and carefully selected wallpapers to complement the home’s character. Existing furniture was reupholstered and paired with new pieces, adding layers of texture and color. A strategically placed mirror enhances the natural light and frames the stunning Hudson River views. The clients’ art collection was rehung with intention, creating a cohesive and meaningful display. Durable yet timeless Stark rugs were chosen to support the demands of a busy household. In the boys’ room, we added nautical touches and a wallpapered ceiling for a playful yet polished look. The girls’ room features a custom shelf to showcase her Madame Alexander doll collection and a tailored closet system to maximize functionality. Each space was designed to balance beauty and practicality, creating a home that reflects the family’s lifestyle and history.
